The name Team Magic is not just a name, it really means something. When Therese Bynum founded the company, she also founded a racing team that would serve as her core volunteer base at her events. This racing team turned into an outstanding group of Birmingham-based coordinators that give up participating in Team Magic races to serve as weekend (and MORE) coordinators. This experienced TEAM is what brings out the MAGIC in the events.

In addition to races expanding to Tennessee, so did the company, with Faye Yates moving "home" and establishing a new Team Magic gang of coordinators based out of Nashville.

In February of 2009, Team Magic added George Mattison of Birmingham, AL as a full-time employee.

Who are the Coordinators?
If you see someone in a Team Magic shirt at the event, it is likely one of our coordinators. Our coordinators are multisport enthusiasts for the Birmingham and Nashville area. Our coordinators are the backbone of Team Magic. We are the only organization that we know with a central core group of experienced race management crew. This crew not only works the events but they each dedicate their Team Magic weekends to be sure you have a first class event.
