EVENT TIMING & GETTING RESULTS & PHOTOS
We use electronic timing chips, TriTats Body Tattoos, helmet numbers, bike frame numbers, and bib numbers to insure we keep track of you during the race and provide you accurate results. Click HERE or on the image below to see what you need to expect to receive at race packet pick up and what to do to make sure we know who you are in this event. We are using a NEW race number system that has all of your race numbers on a one-page sheet, all adhesive and waterproof!

Confirmation Notice & Race Information

A confirmation notice with complete race details will be e-mailed to all entrants within the week of the race. PLEASE review the race information inside the email for the most current race weekend announcements. RACE PROGRAMS AND CONFIRMATION PACKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED IN ADVANCE. You can also review the participant list anytime and review the event web pages for all race details.

 

 

usatUSA Triathlon Additional Information

This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Team Magic race directors Therese Bynum and Faye Yates are USAT Certified Race Directors.

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multisport races. USAT is increasing membership fees by $2 for one-day memberships and $6 for annual memberships, effective January 1, 2012. All individuals that race in Team Magic events must either be a current annual member, buy a one-day membership for $12, or buy an annual membership before the event for $45. Youth racers 17 years old and under MUST be annual members, but this membership is only $5. Visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information about becoming a member. One-day memberships can be purchased with your event entry fee.

 

Easy membership verification with imAthlete:

USAT annual members that register online for Team Magic races now have membership numbers and expiration dates approved through imathlete.com and no longer have to show their USAT member cards at packet pick up. If there are any questions regarding your membership status you should receive a message from event management directing you to a check in area at packet pick up for "PENDING" issues.


REQUIREMENTS AT USAT SANCTIONED EVENTS:

1. EVERYONE MUST SHOW A PHOTO ID

2. IF YOUR USAT MEMBERSHIP HAS EXPIRED, YOU MUST PAY FOR A NEW ANNUAL OR ONE-DAY MEMBERSHIP AND SIGN A WAIVER

3. EACH MEMBER OF RELAY TEAMS MUST BE AN ANNUAL MEMBER OF USAT OR PAY THE ONE-DAY MEMBERSHIP FEE.

 


Refund Policy:
Team Magic in general has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer a partial credit during our cancellation period.

- A credit for 50% of your race registration fee will be offered until 21 days prior to the race date.

- Credits can be used to register for another Team Magic event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date.
- In order to receive the credit, login to www.imATHLETE.com, select "My Events" and click "Manage Registration" on the event you'd like to cancel.

Volunteer for Credit Option

If it is too close to the race to receive the credit as defined above, by volunteering for a Team Magic event, a credit can be awarded for the $ amount paid for race registration. We do not include credit for imAthlete service fees or USAT membership fees.


Procedure for receiving volunteer credit:
1. Before online registration is closed, cancel your registration through imAthlete per above directions and send a copy of cancellation to races@team-magic.com. Once online registration is closed only a 50% credit will be offered.
2. Volunteer 1 day for any Team Magic owned event to get 100% credit for your race entry fee. Sign up online via volunteer local to volunteer.
3. Bring a copy of your cancellation email and response from Team Magic to the volunteer coordinator.
6. Work your required shifts and check out with the volunteer coordinator.
7. A code for race entry credit amount earned will be awarded via email.

 

Event Cancellation or Modification Policy:
If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:
1. Team Magic, Inc. in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.
2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Team Magic, Inc. and local officials
3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Team Magic, Inc. to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.
4. Team Magic, Inc. does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled or for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
