COURSE DESCRIPTION
200 Meter swim / 11.5 mi bike / 2 mi run
Staging Area Overview (swim/transition/finish)
COURSE SUPPORT
ACME Multisports will be on site Friday night and race day with plenty of multisport products and race morning to assist you with any last minute mechanical issues. Please know they are not there to provide bike inspections or general maintenance for free - they are there to support you with emergency situations and major issues may incur a charge.
SWIM DESCRIPTION: 200 meters
The swim is in the pool. You will enter the pool in an "interval start" fashion. Participants line up by race number (beginning with the lowest number to the highest.) Race Numbers are assigned based on your estimated swim time you submitted when you registered. If you would like to start at the back, that is fine. Your racking position in transition is also organized by your race number.
One person at a time enters the pool and begins swimming when given the start command. Swim down the first lane, touch the wall, go under the lane rope, swim down that lane, and continue the same process until you exit after swimming 4 lengths for a total of 200 meters. You exit the pool at a "zero degree" entrance/exit area for a smooth exit. Volunteers will direct you to the transition area where you will begin your bike segment of the race.
BIKE COURSE: 11.5 miles
The bike course is a great mix of rollers and fast, flat sections. Much of the course is on the McMinnville Bypass, with very low traffic and plenty room. Expect great support on the course from the City of McMinnville and Warren County officials.
RUN COURSE: 2 miles
The run course is very residential. The course travels through neighborhoods surrounding the host facility. The finish line is just adjacent to the pool and transition area, making it a great place for your families and friends to cheer you in!

The age up rule means you are racing based on your age as of 12/31/2010. Our computer timing program will automatically calculate your age based on your birth date and the age up rule criteria.

Important Note About Our Event Awards
Team Magic hopes you will join us after each race for the awards ceremony - this is the grand finale of each event and is held very soon after the final race finisher.
Our awards are most often product awards and a recognition award of your placement. We do not ship awards or make them available for pick up after the awards ceremony is completed. Please make arrangements for someone to pick up your award at the event or plan on staying for the awards ceremony. Award categories are available on each race web page.
Preliminary results will be posted as soon as possible at the race site - the location will be announced by our race announcer. If you see that you will be receiving an award but cannot stay for the ceremony, please designate a fellow racer, friend, or volunteer to claim your award. All awards not claimed at the race site will be distributed to race sponsors, city officials, race supporters and at future race prize drawings.
Complete race results will be posted on our web site as soon as possible after each event, usually within 24 hours.
