NEW RACE DISTANCES - MORE BEGINNER FRIENDLY!

200 meter swim / 11.5 mi bike / 2 mi run

Welcome to the McMinnville City Triathlon!

Come join us for our 8th year in this great community. The outdoor pool is set up with 50 meter lanes for the race and the other side of the pool is GREAT for post-race fun for the kids, or triathletes that like to pretend they are kids! You will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming crowd than the city of McMinnville police, emergency, and recreation center personnel and the local volunteers.

 

New this year - we have shortened the distances and changed the date due to the cancelation of our GJCC Memorial Day Triathlon that has been held in Nashville for the past five years. Team Magic wants to continue offering an early season beginner friendly option so the nice folks at McMinnville have agreed to make the date/distance adjustment.

Small Fry Tri - kids age 2 to 6 can get in on the fun to! A very non-competitive mini-triathlon will be held immediately following the adult race.

 

Please note this is for the young ones only - the fee is only $8 and includes an all-day pass to enjoy the pool.

If you are not familiar with McMinnville, see the regional map below to get you acquainted. McMinnville sits about half-way between Nashville & Chattanooga right off I-24, about 75 miles from both cities.

 

The race start time is going to be a little later than normal at 8:30 am to give those driving to the site race morning a little extra time. Don't miss this great race in a great community!
