Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon
|Date||Saturday, September 10 2016|
|Location||Gulf Shores, Alabama|
Team Magic is very excited to be working with the cities of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores to bring you this great destination triathlon for the 9th year!
The Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon and it's little sister, the Coastal "Tri-It -On" Triathlon, will be hosted by The Hangout for the 8th time in 2016. Enjoy a perfect race setting with the gulf of Mexico, main staging area, finish line, packet pick up, pre-race dinner and post-race party all in one spot- at one of the few restaurants sitting on the beach...The Hangout! It's a 1950's beachside hangout brought back to life in the same location. Team Magic partners with the Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission and the cities of Orange Beach & Gulf Shores and Gulf State Park to bring you the best beach race around. Choose from an intermediate distance triathlon or a beginner friendly sprint triathlon - either way, the party is on us.

Swim start and finish will be behind The Hangout (our main staging area) with a short run up the beach to the bike transition area.
Bike Course: This will be a fast, flat bike course with one slight hill as you back and forth over the Perdido Pass bridge for the intermediate distance course. The Tri-It-On course is an out-and-back course on West Beach Boulevard for a total of 10 miles.
Run Course: Both distances are on the same course, with the short course just turning around earlier. This will be a fast, flat run course with drink stations approximately every mile.
The Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Sports Commission is pleased to welcome the participants of the Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon and Coastal "Tri-It-On" Triathlon. We want to invite you and your families to come down to our beautiful beaches, enjoy southern hospitality and a fun, safe race. We are excited about the 8th year for the triathlon and look forward to many more years of hosting this event.
