Team Magic Thanks You For Joining Us For The 30th Anniversary Music City Triathlon!
We know it was a challenging weather day for all of us: competitors, volunteers, race management and all of the local officials that were in the water and on the course. A few of you reading this might have registered for the event and not made it to the race - know that it was a lively day for racing! Unfortunately the winds resulting from Hurricane Ike forced us to cancel the swim even though a few of you did get to complete the course. In case you do not understand why we could not count the swim portion for those of you that were in the first few waves - we had to have everyone do the same race in order to offer the overall awards - to level the playing field.
Congratulations to overall winners Bruce Gennari and Kirsten Sass and congratulations to all that competed on a tough day and if you know some of the volunteers or other race support out there, you might thank them for being out there for you - the windy conditions certainly took extra steam out of all involved.

AWARDS NOT PICKED UP: If you left before the award ceremony and DO want your award, notify us by Sept 30. If you are local to Birmingham or Nashville we may be able to arrange a pick up, please contact therese@team-magic.com Shipping - send $20.00 for each award you want to be shipped, relays are $15.00 per person.
