We do want to apologize for the long line at the Oak Mountain State Park entrance gate. It was a busy morning at the park with the XTERRA folks holding an off-road run at 7 am. We have never had an event at the same time as ours before, so this delay was not anticipated at this level by us, the park, or XTERRA folks. We will work with the park staff to insure that this situation is improved for next year, if there are other events being held at the same time as ours.

OLD HICKORY LAKE TRIATHLON

400 yd swim / 1.5 mi run / 12.5 mi bike / 1.5 mi run
Sumner County, TN - north of downtown Nashville
 We are so excited to be bringing you our 9th year of this popular event. Team Magic started our Tennessee triathlon adventure with this event at just over 180 racers and now we sell out at our event capacity of 448 racers. So, don't wait, plan to join us for this unique triathlon, with the run course split into two segments.
The host community - the cities of Hendersonville and Gallatin in beautiful lakeside Sumner County and the local triathlon club (HEAT) - makes this a wonderful event for all racers. The support is awesome, so expect plenty of course protection by local police and the many volunteer groups.
The swim course is great for first time open water swimmers - a quiet cove off of Old Hickory Lake.
 Our 6th edition takes place on Sunday, July 11th
