PARKING RACE MORNING
On race morning, we suggest you park:
1.
Public Beach Parking spaces to the WEST of The Hangout
2.
Public Beach Parking at East and West 1st Street
3.
NOT ON BEACH BOULEVARD - THIS IS YOUR RACE COURSE
4.
Side Streets on the side of the road if needed
5.
NOT in any retail business parking unless you get approval from the business owner
6.
DO NOT block any drives to homes, retail, condos, etc...

We have a new race site for 2009 - The Hangout is located on the beach where Hwy.59 South hits Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores.

PRE RACE DINNER OFFER AT THE HANGOUT
Our host is offering a great deal for your pre-race dinner to get you race ready - plan on loading up on great, fresh food the night before the race when you come to pick up your packet. Meal Options for only $9:
Penne al ah vodka pasta--tomatoes, garlic, vodka, basil, reduced in a
cream sauce
Roasted garlic butter fettuccini--fresh roasted garlic with herbs and
spices tossed in fettuccini al dente
Both pastas $9 add chicken, mahi. Or shrimp for a $3 up charge highly
recommended for that extra protein
Served with garlic bread
Breakfast Buffet for Your Friends and Family
The Hangout will have a great breakfast buffet option until 10 am and of course drinks available for purchase race morning and during the race, so please tell those traveling with you they can fuel up there!
Post-Race Food For Racers
For the immediate post-race, there will be fruit, cookies, chips, and plenty to drink. A complimentary hot-food buffet will open at 10:30 am for all racers and volunteers. Complimentary beer by Miller Genuine Draft 64 Lite will be available for those 21 and over.
The hot food buffet includes: chicken fingers, pasta with marinara sauce, salad, gumbo, chili and more!
Showers
There are public showers and restrooms in the Public Beach West Parking area - just adjacent to The Hangout - so, after your race, grab some quick refreshments, enjoy a shower if you wish, then come back over for the food buffet, beer, awards presentation and LIVE MUSIC all afternoon until 4:00 pm at The Hangout!
